This week’s Ask Billy question is a first. Randy in Baltimore asks, “Have you seen The Great and Powerful Genie?  I know it’s AI, but the genie is really hot and based on a real actor.  Know anything about him?”

I’m almost embarrassed to say I had never heard of The Great and Powerful Genie.  So I went to look it up… and I was hooked!  And those are two hours I’ll never get back.  It is what’s known as a “vertical micro-drama series”.  It is also billed as Djinn Under Contract – yes, there are several versions of the same flick.  Some feature actual actors, while others are fully AI-generated.  As to Randy’s question, the genie in the live-action version is “played” by Eric Guilmette, who is quite dreamy.  He’s a model and actor whose resume is chock full of some rather curious titles: Boss Please Behave, Dungeons of Ecstasy, I Adopted My Stolen Baby, and my two favorites – I Slept with My Three Werewolf Stepsons and When My Ex Becomes My Gynecologist.  Talk about range!
