The Gay Bachelor’s Secret Videos

This week, we have a gay bachelor hitting the airwaves, courtesy of Logo‘s Finding Prince Charming.  By now, you all know that you could have had him as your own Prince Charming if you ponied up $250 an hour!  Yes, Robert Sepulveda was a hooker – and he’s sheepishly admitted it.  Word has it Logo was caught completely off-guard, and an unnamed source claims, “Nothing came up during the background check.  The network didn’t find out until well into production”.  These things don’t happen on ABC‘s The Bachelor, a show run by Mike Fleiss, who knows a thing or two about hookers!  While Sepulveda isn’t hiding from his former profession, he feels “the past is the past” – which might be the case were it not for those videos.  Oh yes, in addition to the photos we have published showing his self-proclaimed “fat uncut 10-inch cock”, there are videos of a more graphic nature.  Yes, we get the obligatory masturbation video, which no hooker should be without.  But then there’s that video that quenches other thirsts.  I dare not say more in a family publication, but you can see all on BillyMasters.com.

Celebrity Big Brother’s BIG Cock

Our Ask Billy question comes from Roger in London: “Have you watched any of Celebrity Big Brother [UK]?  There are a couple of hot guys, and I hear Lewis Bloor just showed his penis.  Could you track it down?”

This column is filled with people I’ve never heard of.  And here’s another one.  Lewis Bloor is known for being on one of those “scripted reality shows” called The Only Way is Essex.  The 26-year old is awfully handsome, has a great body, and, as it turns out, an amazingly large penis!  Before leaving the Big Brother house, he decided to flash his housemates – and he made sure he was erect when he did it!  He may be a foreigner, but you won’t need a passport to see him on BillyMasters.com.

Prince Charming’s Secret Past – By The Hour

The Logo network has finally confirmed something I told you weeks ago – that Robert Sepulveda is the star of their upcoming dating show, Finding Prince Charming, which debuts on September 8th and will be hosted by Lance Bass.  Now, I’m not exactly sure who is the prince and who is doing the looking.  Is Robert Prince Charming?  Or is he looking for his Prince Charming?  Perhaps he’ll open the show by singing, “Someday my prince will come” – which could have all sorts of new implications for a gaggle of gay guys!

As I previously told you, Sepulveda had a past – but I had no idea how colorful it was.  I knew that he had been cast on Bravo‘s Most Eligible – New York back in 2011.  I also knew that he had some sort of a relationship with designer Marc Jacobs.  But now we’ve discovered that his past also includes a foray into the world’s oldest profession.  Far be it from me to cast aspersions on a hooker.  After all, he’s hot and was able to get paid for it – good for him.  This was back around 2006 in Fort Lauderdale – which fits the details of his life we already know.  He was working under the name Vincent Romen and was advertising on the now-defunct Rentboy.com.  We also know that he was charging $250 an hour, $1,500 for an overnight.  With those prices, he’s gonna break Logo‘s budget!  What do they get for that money?  Well, he describes himself as having a “fat uncut 10-inch cock” and from the rather graphic photos that have fallen into our hands, he’s much more than a handful.  Not only does he have a big dick, but he might very well be a big dick, too.  One reviewer (yes, hookers get reviews) claims that Sepulveda refused to see him, saying, “I don’t like African-American men”!  This does not bode well for the three black contestants!  But, you can skip the show and see every inch of him on BillyMasters.com.

Bellamy Murders Beau

Marcus Bellamy, a Broadway dancer, was arrested after he confessed on Facebook that he murdered his boyfriend.  “Forgive me.  I did it because I love you.  I love you all.  I loved him also.  He told me love and hate are the same emotion.  Forgive me.  I know not what I do.  I did it for love.  For god.  On high.”  Shortly after that missive, he posted, “I am god.  I give life and can take it away.  So let it be.  #therapture.”  A reader had the good sense to call the authorities.  When the police arrived at his home, Bellamy was waiting for them in front of the building with his arms outstretched towards the sky.  The victim was identified as Bernardo Almonte.  Based on initial reports, it appears that Bellamy strangled Bernardo.  Bernardo was also bleeding from some sort of strike to the head.  The police also noted that Bellamy bit both of Almonte’s shoulders.  I don’t know if Logo is interested in doing made-for-TV movies, but this could match anything produced over at Lifetime.  And, if Bellamy’s penis is to be believed, it could be a very interesting audition process.  You can check out every inch of Marcus at BillyMasters.com.

Lochte’s Damage Control

It’s been an up-and-down couple of weeks for Ryan Lochte.  I know this will shock you, but I feel sorry for him.  Yes, he lied to his mom to cover up a wild night out, she blabbed to the press, and then he had to stand by the story publicly.  I’m not excusing him, but it’s not like he was Tonya Harding handing someone a crowbar!  A far greater crime was that terrible hair at the Olympics – someone ought to prosecute him for that.  But, no, the Brazilian authorities have summoned him back to Rio de Janeiro to face charges of false report of robbery.  Can’t he just send a check?  Hasn’t he been through enough?

In a smart move, Lochte has signed on to compete on the new season of Dancing with the Stars.  Unless he dances like Geraldo Rivera, he should be safe for a few weeks and maybe garner a bit of public support.  And he certainly needs a paycheck, since his four endorsement deals have fallen through.  But there’s some good news – Ryan has been signed as spokesperson for my cough drops of choice – Pine Bros. (you know, those ones that are so sticky, they will pull the crowns out of your mouth).  The cough drop company said, “Just as Pine Bros. is forgiving to your throat, the company asks the public for a little forgiveness for an American swimming legend”.  But I’ve come up with a better slogan – Coat your throat with Ryan Lochte and Pine Bros.

Three of the Brazilian Gymnasts have sex tapes

This week’s Ask Billy question comes from Gary in New York: “With all these hot Olympians and rumors of rampant sex in the village, how is it possible you haven’t gotten any nude photos or videos?  You’re slipping!”

You may slip off the keyboard watching the jerk-off videos we got featuring Brazilian gymnasts Arthur Zanetti (silver medal, rings), Arthur Mariano (bronze medal, floor exercises), and Sergio Sasaki.  Mariano is the most provocative.  He’s nude and fully erect (and substantially erect).  He appears to be Skyping with a female friend when a rather hot teammate wanders into the bathroom.  To fill in the gaps, check out BillyMasters.com.

Daley’s Diving Disappointment

When I mentioned a gay British Olympian, I bet you all thought I was talking about Tom Daley.  That’s because rumors flying out of Rio claim that the diver secretly married fiancé Dustin Lance Black.  Those rumors started after DLB Tweeted: “3M Finals with Johnny Chaillot.  Watch out #FootballWives, the #DivingHusbands are in the house.”  A swift denial was issued by Daley’s mouthpiece – which I would have thought was DLB!

Although NBC did not acknowledge Dustin Lance Black sitting with Daley’s mom during the synchronized diving at the beginning of the Olympics, they did point him out during the platform diving near the end of the fortnight.  “For three Olympics, we’ve seen Tom Daley with Team Daley.  His mom has been a constant presence.  Now with his fiancé, who Tom refers to as Lance, Dustin Lance Black, Academy Award-winning screenwriter for the very powerful film Milk“.  Who says social media (and Billy Masters) can’t change the world?  Or a Streisand concert?  Nonetheless, it was ultimately a disappointing time in Rio for Daley.  He broke the Olympic record in the platform diving preliminaries, only to finish last in the semifinals the following day.  He vows to come back in four years.

Lochte’s New Word and Old Hair

All hell broke loose in Rio, and you surely don’t need me to recap what Ryan Lochte refers to as his “immature tantics”!  But a key part of this kerfuffle has gotten lost in the shuffle – and it’s a part I can definitely identify with.  The whole thing got started because Lochte’s mother has loose lips!  OK, she didn’t ask to sit next to Streisand, but she’s the first one who told reporters Ryan had been held up at gunpoint.  Why Ryan told his mother this fib is a mystery – I suspect he was trying to cover up why he was out so late and came home drunk (something else I’m sure we can all relate to).  Once all is said and done, there are only two important points: 1) Ryan has finally dyed his hair back to a semi-natural color, and B) he’s still hot and we’d all fuck him – at gunpoint, if necessary!

Billy & Big Mama at Barbra in Boston

Last week was Big Mama Masters‘ 75th birthday.  As the dutiful son, I wielded what little clout I have and arranged to bring her to see Barbra Streisand in Boston.  We were seated on the floor about halfway back – choice seats.  Halfway through the first act, she excitedly whispered, “I wish I could see her up close”.  From that point onward, I could hear her wheels turning, and half expected to see my mother crawling onstage behind the percussion section!  During the intermission, I brought her to meet the director (and benefactor of our tickets), Richard Jay-Alexander.  He said he was happy to make it a special birthday and hoped she was having a great time.  My ever-gracious mother said, “It’s wonderful – I just wish I could see Barbra up close.”  RJA was somewhat taken aback.  “But you’re pretty close to the stage, and you can also look up at the monitors.”  “Yes,” said Mama, “but I mean up close like I am to you!”  And you people wonder where I got my balls?!

As to the concert (and I’ll be brief since I already reviewed the show), I must correct myself.  When I saw the dress rehearsal, I said Barbra was delivering about 80 percent prime Streisand – not bad for a 74-year-old woman.  I must report that is no longer the case.  After two weeks of shows, Barbra is up to roughly 95 percent!  Where some rasp was detected around a B or a C, it now doesn’t creep in until about an E-flat.  People often forget that the voice is a muscle and it must be kept in shape, and BJ (as I like to call her) is notorious for not practicing unless she has to; and she doesn’t warm up.  The dress rehearsal reflected that.  But now, I’m astonished that she seems to have turned back the hands of time.  In my initial review, I had two major caveats with the show.  First, I didn’t like seeing Babs as a magician’s assistant in the middle of the first act, and I didn’t like seeing the words to “Happy Days Are Here Again” projected for the audience to “Sing Along with Streisand” during the encore.  Well, the mentalist is now opening the second act without Babs, and the words on the screen are gone.  You’re welcome!

Before Boston, Barbra was in Brooklyn – try saying that three times fast!  Joining her as a duet partner in her hometown was Jamie Foxx.  And he wasn’t there alone.  We’re told that Foxx was joined backstage by his “special friend”, Katie Holmes.  The two have apparently been “close” for some time now…whatever that means.

Cher & Babs for Clinton

The big news in Provincetown is that Hillary will be returning on August 21st for a fundraiser (she held a memorable event here last summer).  Even more exciting is that Clinton will be accompanied by Cher!  Not only that, but Cher is hosting fundraisers for Hillary in Miami Beach (August 19th) and Fire Island (August 20th) – that’s a lot of work for someone who spends 90 percent of her waking time in bed!

The LGBT for Hillary Gala will take place at Cipriani on Wall Street in NYC on September 9th, and that event will feature a performance by Barbra Streisand!  Tix range from $1,200 to $250,000 – the top price includes a meet-and-greet.  Obviously, not with Barbra – but with Hillary!

Billy & Barrowman Hit Ptown

This may come as a shock to you, but I just spent a lovely time with John Barrowman and his hubby Scott Gill in Provincetown.  The duo were vacationing prior to Johnny’s appearance at Boston’s Comic-Con.  The pair caught a number of shows while in town.  The night before I arrived, they went to see Well-Strung, which they loved.  We all went to see Varla Jean Merman, and I had the best time watching Barrowman – who at one point was laughing so hard, I thought he was going to hyperventilate (to be fair, the sight of Merman in a burqa is quite hysterical).  We discussed my recent split-open forehead which was glued shut in an ER.  Scott then told me that he sliced open one of his fingers while cutting vegetables and actually glued the wound shut himself!  Johnny shared an anecdote about how pleasurable Scott’s now-rough digit was, which I have filed away for future reference.  It should be mentioned that Gill was quite tickled to visit the mega-popular ScottCakes shop in Provincetown, owned by my pal Scott Cunningham.  You must sample his sinfully delicious treats – Cunningham’s, not Gill’s.

I also asked Barrowman about a death threat he received.  The organizers of Montreal Comic-Con received an e-mail from someone on the West Coast threatening a number of minority groups and targeting Johnny specifically.  John refused to cancel – “I wasn’t gonna let the bastards win.”  But he wouldn’t risk the well-being of his fans.  So he was in a separate room and his talk was transmitted via video.  As to meeting, greeting, and autographing, security arranged limited groups to visit Barrowman in person, and everyone was served – so to speak.

Beastly Behavior in Rio

You might have heard that a straight reporter was sent to Rio to lure gay Olympians on Grindr and out them.  But that wasn’t the purpose of the story (which has since been deleted).  The story was ostensibly about how much sex is going on in the Olympic Village – something we’ve heard about for years.  The writer went on both gay and straight apps looking for sex and – again, not surprising – he got more responses on Grindr than all the other apps combined.  That explains why the piece was titled “I Got Three Grindr Dates In An Hour In The Olympic Village”.  What shocked me most is that the writer used his own photo – and let’s just say he’s not a looker.  While no athletes are named, he included clues about the guys’ events, countries, and placing.  Ultimately, the takeaway is that gay men are looking for more sex than straight women – surprise, surprise.  If he wanted to get a real scoop, he should have used the photo of a hot female on Tinder!  My point is not to defend the writer or the Beast itself.  But I do think it’s important that this incident is reported by someone who actually read the article – which does not appear to include most critics.

US Gymnasts Show Off

Let me start this week’s column by applauding the US men’s gymnastic team.  Now, I’m not applauding them for any professional achievement.  I’m applauding them because they’ve blatantly asked for the media to objectify them.  And, in a striking departure from my typical sexual modus operandi, I am happy to take this direction.  The team has posed for numerous shirtless pics and deluged social media with same.  Prior to the Olympics, all-around national champion Sam Mikulak wondered how to get the attention of the American people (and, perhaps, score some financially lucrative endorsement deals post-Rio).  His answer?  “Maybe compete with our shirts off.  People make fun of us for wearing tights.  But if they saw how yoked we are maybe that would make a difference.”  I don’t know exactly what this “yoked” is, but I’m all for anything that delivers a little flesh.

Bloom and Bieber in the Buff

Some celebrated men were having a devil of a time keeping their clothes on.  First we had Orlando Bloom paddle boarding with paramour Katy Perry in Sardinia.  First, let me thank Mr. Bloom – whether by design or simply happenstance – for at least providing us with a semi-fluffed penis.  It’s the little things, you understand.  Really it’s his entire body (and that ass) which made it for me – you can see for yourself on BillyMasters.com.

Not to be outdone, Justin Bieber risked overexposure to the sun (to say nothing of the Zika virus) by hiking in flagrante.  While I find the Beebs to be much ado about nothing, it’s my job is to tell you where you can see him in the buff – which I will admit his body is.  And that place would be our website.

Gay Olympian In Hot Water

Speaking of the Olympics, this week numerous gay men on social media took aim at Gus Kenworthy – a name most people have never heard before.  He’s an openly gay Olympic skier, and he’s really hot.  And that’s why he has a following – if he were losing his hair and had a hump, he’d have no fan base (medal or not).  Gus posted a photo with beau Matt Wilkas and Caitlyn Jenner at an undisclosed party in London.  That party was to celebrate the birthday of Prince Azim, the son of the Sultan of Brunei, a monarch with an anti-gay bent.  The “colorful” prince enjoys having celebrities at his fetes – folks like Janet Jackson, Diana Ross, Mariah Carey, Sophia Loren, Michael Jackson, and others have attended in the past (and have been, presumably, well-compensated).  But it does beg the question – how anti-gay is anyone with that kinda guest list?  Once Gus was informed that this could be a touchy subject with his fans, he deleted the post – but not before it wormed its way through the web.  Since then, he’s been raked over the coals about how he’s let so many people down.  When you can find Brunei on a map or tell me any stats about Kenworthy other than the number of abs he has, then you can tell me how let down you are.

Tonga Steals The Show

I must admit, I enjoy the summer Olympics primarily because we get to see really hot guys in almost no clothing.  Even the Parade of Nations wasn’t exempt from that.  The Tongan flag bearer (sporting a bare torso) stole the hearts of women and gay men everywhere.  Pita Nikolas Taufatofua, a 6’3″, 32-year-old athlete, will compete in taekwondo.  He was slathered with copious amounts of coconut oil.  “In Tonga, it’s traditional.  In any sort of event we use coconut oil,” said Taufatofua.  Interestingly enough, he was actually born in Australia.  Although he lives in Brisbane, he wanted to compete for the country of his father – where, methinks, he’d have far less competition.

Streisand Hits The Road

“I’m killing myself for this tour because there’s a painting I want!”
–
Barbra Streisand explains the impetus behind this latest concert tour.

Singers typically have a short professional life.  Beverly Sills sang her last opera at 51, while Callas was only 42.  When Judy Garland died at 47, she had already been in vocal decline for several years.  And let’s not even talk about Liza.  So my expectations were tempered walking into Barbra: The Music… The Mem’ries… The Magic.  After all, Streisand is 74.  And yet, what you get is roughly 85-90 percent of prime Babs.  Yes, there is a discernible roughness to anything above a B.  But rather than avoid these notes, she faces the challenge head-on and quite often, the risk pays off.  The set list includes a number of songs she’s never sung publicly before.  A highlight is the sequence from Funny Lady.  Her tackling of the breakdown scene of “How Lucky Can You Get” was staggering.  OK, the gratuitous “Fan-fucking-tastic” is questionable, but it got a cheer – as expletives often do.  Barbra also shares the stage for duets with a number of people who appear on her upcoming Encores CD.  In LA, she had Seth MacFarlane, Jamie Foxx, and Babyface (who sang with her on her 2014 CD, Partners).  I’m told various special guests will turn up in most cities.

The concert is longer than most of her outings, and she seems to be genuinely relaxed and enjoying herself – although that might be because I went to an exclusive pre-tour event that was solely for “Family & Friends”.  I was grateful to be counted amongst that elite group, which included people like Jane Fonda, Kristin Chenoweth, Darren Criss, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Rob Lowe, Pierce Brosnan, David Duchovny, Kathy Griffin, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Melissa McCarthy, Jane Lynch, and Jenifer Lewis.  Since this was a dress rehearsal, there were some mishaps.  At one point, Barbra noticed something on the ground.  “What’s that?  It’s beads from my dress!”  Streisand scurried around, picking up beads and clutching them in her hand – undoubtedly ready to hand them off to her seamstress Anna (who was in the audience, but surely worked through the night).  And when she went to exit, the doors at the rear of the stage didn’t open.  She shrugged her shoulders, laughed, and walked back out for her encore (“Happy Days Are Here Again”, complete with words on the screen – it was like Sing Along with Streisand).

colorbar1

Personally, I could have done without the extended sequence in the first half by Israeli mentalist Lior Suchard (who performed at Streisand’s 70th birthday party).  Lior’s act isn’t a chance for Barbra to catch her breath or change gowns.  Nope, she stays onstage with him the whole time as he reads the minds of random people in the audience.  To ensure they are random, he hands Barbra three Frisbees to throw.  “Barbra, have you ever thrown a Frisbee before?” he asks.  “No, but I’ve seen them on TV!”  And before you can say “Oucha-ma-goucha”, Babs is tossing Frisbees into the audience like part of some insane act on America’s Got Talent.  Maybe I simply didn’t care for the trick.  I bet I would have gotten a kick out of seeing Barbra as a magician’s assistant being sawed in half!  But for me, it was all too schticky.  It proved without a doubt that while you can take the girl out of the Catskills, you can’t take the Catskills out of the girl.

It should have been a great week for Streisand.  The tour got raves.  She’s working on her autobiography (when asked when it will be out, she said, “Don’t hold your breath” – adding she was writing it now, “before my memory gets any more misty and water-colored”).  And it was announced that the script for her film remake of Gypsy was done and shooting would begin next year.  And then STX Entertainment dropped out as distributor and co-producer.  Days earlier, Barbra talked about the frustration of making this film and how so much depends on others.  “I’m at their mercy.  One day you’re going to do Gypsy, the next day it’s off.”

Alex Bown Enormous Dong Breaks The Internet

Many of you have written in the same Ask Billy question.  But the e-mail from Kurt in Dallas was the first I received: “Who is Alex Bowen, and is that photo of his penis real?  It can’t really be that big!”

Alex Bowen is a fitness model who appeared on Love Island, a UK dating show.  At the time, he listed his occupation as “scaffolder”, but I doubt he’s done much scaffolding lately.  A photo of him flaunting his phenomenal physique and sporting a borderline double-digit dick mysteriously popped up in public and virtually broke the Internet – to say nothing of countless other orifices.  In fact, the hoopla made its way across the seas, leading many of you to write in wanting to see all.  Ask and you shall receive – to BillyMasters.com.

Bad Blood on The Bachelorette – Chad vs. Robby

The Bachelorette has been causing controversy all summer – and most of it is due to Chad Johnson.  In last week’s The Men Tell All episode, he claimed to have hooked up with at least three of his former castmates’ ex-girlfriends.  He also took shots at the two finalists.  Jordan is not there for the right reasons – he just wants fame (like that’s something new).  Chad also claims that Robby dumped his girlfriend the moment he got cast on the show (she’s one of the exes Chad claims to have hooked up with).  In case that bit of slander didn’t stick, Chad also questioned Robby’s sexuality by Tweeting, “If I have to watch @RobbyHHayes pretend to like women for one more second on #The Bachelorette, I’m gonna blow my head off.  #The Bitchelorette.”  While I wish it were true, I somehow doubt it.  If Robby were gay, he’d have better hair!

Nude Gymnast Makes US Olympic Team

With the Olympics looming large, we were thinking about hunky gymnast Danell Leyva.  You may remember the Cuban-American from four years ago, when we ran a series of nearly-nude photos which came from his cell phone, to say nothing of a nude workout pictorial (all of which can be found on BillyMasters.com).  Believe it or not, Danell (who was the only US gymnast to win a medal at the 2012 London Olympics – he won the bronze medal for all-around gymnast) was an alternate on this year’s Olympic team.  But he’s been moved up due to a teammate’s knee injury.  It’s ironic that an injury worked to Leyva’s advantage, since an injury is what kept him off the team in the first place.  Days before a key qualifying meet, Danell was left with several gaping wounds on his legs and hands after trying to separate two of his pit bulls!  And this isn’t a first – four years ago, he had to get 80 stitches near his ear after being bitten by the same dogs days before the American Cup!  I don’t even think Betty White would object to both dogs being put down after this latest attack.

LuPone & Ebersole – A Billy Masters Exclusive Video

Theatre devotees are flocking to Chicago for the chance to see Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole star together in the new musical, War Paint.  You don’t think I’d let a little hospital stay keep me away from seeing two double Tony Award winners sparring, do you?  So off I went – facial bandaging be damned.  As luck would have it, the musicalized story of cosmetic mavens Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden included a passing moment of electroshock therapy, but that’s neither hither nor yon.  It’s a curious thing to form a show around two women who never actually met despite having so much in common (including swapping the men in their lives).  Most of the show is done in parallel scenes on opposite sides of the stage, with the ladies only meeting face-to-face in a fictitious late-life encounter.  Despite both women’s success, they are victims of their own ambition, of the times, and of their inability to change.  Arden is not allowed to join an exclusive club (which she helped design) because “for a woman to have money is one thing.  But to earn it?  Surely you understand that changes things”.  Likewise, Rubinstein is discriminated against when trying to buy a penthouse because of her ethnicity.  Recounting this episode, LuPone’s Rubinstein is sanguine:  “So, what did I do?  Did I cry like a child?  Do I walk away?  No – I buy the building, instead!”  Shades of Evita.

Both LuPone and Ebersole are at the top of their game.  Both are actresses of extraordinary calibre whose vocal abilities are two sides of the same coin: Ebersole a cooler, purer soprano, while LuPone is more idiosyncratic, guttural, and harsh.  These vocal attributes fit the characters ideally – not surprising since the roles were written for them.  And yet, there are times when the singers swap harmonies with striking dramatic results.  It made me wonder how each would play the other’s role.  It’s a challenge that perhaps they’ll tackle one day.  For now, the show has been extended at Chicago’s Goodman until August 21 (if you can get a ticket).  I don’t think it’s too early to anticipate a very healthy Broadway run shortly thereafter – after a bit of tweaking and judicious pruning.  While only a few scant seconds of video of the musical have been released, you won’t be surprised to hear that quite a bit more has made its way into my rather well-worn lap.  A certain someone has supplied us with fantastic footage of the full final face-off.  And the only place you’ll see these fabulous 15 minutes is on BillyMasters.com.

Does Zayn Suck Dick

Our Ask Billy question comes from Sander in Illinois: “A friend of mine just showed me a video of Zayn Malik (formerly of One Direction) sucking dick.  It sure looks legit to me.  Thoughts?”

Looks real to me, too.  And the woefully overworked Filth2Go forensic examiners have told me that no editing or altering has been done to the footage.  But our legal team wants me to make it clear that we cannot say without any doubt that this is Zayn.  We can say, however, that if you’d like to see someone who appears to be Zayn sucking on what appears to be an enormous dick (and sucking it rather enthusiastically), then go to BillyMasters.com.

O’Toole’s Wild Sex Life

Someone who didn’t necessarily believe in monogamy was Peter O’Toole.  According to Peter O’Toole: Hellraiser, Sexual Outlaw, Irish Rebel, the acclaimed actor had 1,033 lovers – give or take.  The book includes quite juicy exploits.  One of the most outrageous is about an evening he shared with Richard Burton and Ava Gardner while they were filming Night of the Iguana near O’Toole’s home in Puerto Vallarta.  After a night of heavy drinking, Gardner allegedly said to the duo, “There’s a fire raging inside me.  And I think that it will take two stout-hearted men, a Welshman and an Irishman, to extinguish the flame.”  O’Toole later told his business partner, “She was right.  It took the both of us to satisfy her that night.”  What makes the book even more timely is the inclusion of an affair Peter had with one of my dear friends.  Lady April Ashley is noted as being one of the first Brits to have gender reassignment surgery.  As a woman with an unknown past, April was a successful model and actress in the ’60s and was wooed by O’Toole.  She didn’t share her secret until they were at the height of passion.  “I was born a boy,” she told him.  “Peter was too far gone at that point to worry about what sex I had been born,” says Ashley.

Looking For a Point

You know how after you’ve broken up with someone, you start to romanticize the relationship?  It wasn’t that bad.  Maybe you shouldn’t have broken up.  After a while, you give the ex a call and get together…just to see.  And you know what you will invariably discover?  That you were right to break up in the first place.  That sums up the long-awaited Looking: The Movie.  Spoiler alert: HBO has found a way to unmemorably tie up the loose ends of a show that was unmemorable to begin with.  Only time will tell if this film will also (erroneously) be regarded fondly upon reflection.  But it reminded me of every reason why initial viewers tuned out in droves.  For the first half hour, I kept wondering, “Who talks like this?”  I distracted myself trying to figure out whether the problem was the writing, the direction, the acting, or (d) all of the above.  Then, after 45 minutes, something finally happened.  That oasis lasted 10 minutes.  Precious little has changed for these characters since HBO put them out of their misery last March.  But that didn’t stop the 30-somethings from apologizing for being out of touch.  Hello?  Is it 1983?  Perhaps.  After all, the best acting came from 1983 Best Actress Emmy Award winner, Tyne Daly!

One member of the Looking cast had reason to celebrate last week.  Daniel Franzese (formerly best known for his role in Mean Girls) got engaged.  The proposal took place at the same North Hollywood Starbucks where he met his beau, Joseph Bradley Phillips, over a year ago.  Daniel gave the barista a ring and had him put it in a cup labeled Mr. and Mr. Franzese.  Needless to say, Phillips said yes.  “Joseph has given me the best of his heart.  Finding my soulmate has made all the years I struggled with myself worth it,” says Franzese.  Congrats!

Melania or Caitlyn

In these troubled times when you don’t know who to trust, let me assure you that I, Billy Masters, have written each and every word of this column every week for over two decades.  Why, I was just telling my children Sasha and Malia about how this started – when their father and I were community activists in Chicago.  Hold on.  I might be channeling my inner Michelle Obama, something we all do occasionally.  Who could blame Melania for that.  Plus, Melania/Malia – they’re very similar!  While the hopeful First Lady is trying to find her way, might I suggest a niche which may fit her to a T: she can be the first First Lady to have intentionally posed topless!  Oh, sure, Jackie Kennedy was a Hustler centerfold, but at least Melania had the good sense to get paid for it.  Unless someone can prove me wrong with photos of a spread-eagle Eleanor Roosevelt (a sight precious few would ever want to see), I think Melania’s place in history is secured.  Am I the only one to note her resemblance to Caitlyn Jenner?

Feel Free To Shower With Meloni

Christopher Meloni certainly doesn’t mind attention from the gays.  One fan recently Tweeted, “@Chris_Meloni: I finished the Oz series two days and I’m depressed about it (especially with the end of your character).  how to handle?”  Meloni accommodatingly responded thusly: “Take a shower and pretend I’ll be joining u”  To help get you in the mood, we’ll show you every inch of him in the shower on our website.

RuPaul’s Nominated For An Emmy

Many of my older readers never thought they’d see a drag queen with a TV show – with the exception of Milton Berle and Benny Hill.  A more recent generation thought they’d seen it all when RuPaul got a show – in fact, most of the Logo network centers around RuPaul.  How do you top that?  By making history with an Emmy nomination as Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program.  Not only did Ru get a nomination – she was nominated alongside Jane Lynch (Hollywood Game Night), Tom Bergeron (Dancing with the Stars), Ryan Seacrest (American Idol), Steve Harvey (Little Big Shots), and Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum (Project Runway) – officially making it the gayest category in Emmy history.  RuPaul, who once notably said “I’d rather have an enema than have an Emmy“, is likely a long shot.  But it’s an honor just to be nominated.  “I dedicate this Emmy nomination to outsiders everywhere.  Brave souls who stick to their dreams and make the world a more colorful place.”  I think she just said the Emmy should go to Tim Gunn!

Grey Gardens Hits The Road

LA may slow down in the summer, but it sure ain’t boring.  This past week, we had the Dreamgirls reunion (with exclusive and extensive footage on BillyMasters.com), Diane Ross at the Hollywood Bowl, and Broadway royalty at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.  That last bit was when the Ahmanson Theatre hosted the national tour of Grey Gardens starring Rachel York and Betty Buckley.  The highlight of the evening happened before the show even started.  As the lights dimmed, in scurried Angela Lansbury – well, as much as a 90-year-old can scurry!  Some people noticed and applauded, but then the pre-show announcement was made.  You know – the one about no taking of photos, silencing your cell phones, unwrapping your candy.  Except the person making the announcement was Angela Lansbury – who starred in Blithe Spirit in the same theatre last year.  After the pre-recorded speech ended, the audience started applauding.  I said, “Wouldn’t it be great if…wait – she’s up!”  Yes, Lansbury got out of her seat, bowed, and got a standing ovation!  Certainly a special moment (which we caught on camera, of course).

As to the show, I’ve always felt this is not a musical – it’s a play with music.  What I mean is that the score, while having moments, is really secondary to the script.  I think it’s terribly unfair to compare performers, but this is a show created for Christine Ebersole and Mary Louise Wilson.  That said, shows are not museum pieces – they have to live and breath and be re-created, re-interpretted.  And this new duo is quite game.  York is a gifted singer, but she’s not in Ebersole’s league acting-wise.  However, she was quite successful in the first act, which was a much more natural fit.  And I must mention that when her prop magnifying glass literally fell apart, she handled it with aplomb.  Buckley made many curious choices and played the part with more energy and shtick than Wilson – who was truer to the real person (as captured in the documentary).  The biggest misstep in this production is the set.  While the idea of incorporating video and making the second act a living documentary is inspired, the set is far too grand and spacious to ever feel claustrophobic.  An unintentionally great moment occurs when the ladies take their bows.  Buckley walks down a large, sweeping staircase – eerily echoing her turn in Sunset Boulevard.  I loved it, but the last thing you want to do leaving a show is be reminded of another show.

Here’s Your Prince Charming

Lance Bass is helping a male supermodel find love – ’cause he’s a giver.  The network is touting Finding Prince Charming as the “first-ever gay dating show” – obviously forgetting James Getzlaff and Boy Meets Boy from Bravo in 2003.  OK, so that show did have the unfortunate twist of sprinkling some straight suitors into the mix…just to make it icky.  Be that as it may, we hear that Logo encouraged their 20 prospective beaus to amp up the drama and cattiness while filming in an LA-area estate.  I’ll be interested to see how many of the hunks hook up with each other – something ABC‘s Bachelor franchise rarely has to worry about.

As to the guy handing out the roses (or whatever a gay bachelor hands out – PrEP, perhaps?), Robert Sepulveda Jr. has been described as “an interior designer with Puerto Rican roots who now lives in Atlanta”.  But regardless of what the network says, this isn’t the 33-year-old’s first attempt at finding love on camera.  Way back in 2011, he was cast on Bravo‘s Most Eligible New York – a show I don’t believe ever aired.  Around that time, he was romantically linked with Marc Jacobs.  When asked about their relationship, he said, “We are friends, and I don’t really want to comment any further” – so I guess they were an item.  Not surprisingly, Robert also has an extensive modeling portfolio in which he’s featured wearing as little clothing as possible.  He’s 6’2″, 195 pounds, has a 42-inch chest and a 30-inch waist – or at least he had a 30-inch waist once.  As for that all-important measurement, he’s a 10 – in footwear, silly!  He also occasionally throws some blond highlights into his luscious salt-and-pepper locks…but who am I to judge?  He also appears to be circumcised, as you’ll see on BillyMasters.com.

Jenifer Lewis is The New Girl

Someone who wasn’t there was Jenifer Lewis, who played Effie during one of the pre-Broadway workshops of Dreamgirls.  Since the Black-ish star is on safari in Africa, she couldn’t sing “The New Girl” – a song originally sung by Michelle in the dressing room scene when she’s confronted by Effie.  Before Jenifer became the African Queen, she recorded the song, and we are thrilled to bring you her rendition exclusively on BillyMasters.com.

Bon Jovi – Wedding Singer

You know when you’re at a wedding reception and someone coaxes a guest to sing with the band?  Sometimes it’s a precocious tyke; sometimes a college roommate; and sometimes an elderly aunt who personally knew Keely Smith.  Last week, it was Jon Bon Jovi.  The rocker was attending a wedding in Key Biscayne when the band began to play “Livin’ on a Prayer”.  Well, the word “band” is probably misleading.  It consisted of a string bass, synthesizer, trumpet, drums, and guitar – and they sounded exactly as you’d expect a wedding band to sound…with just a hint of mariachi.  Singer Lourdes Valentin knew Bon Jovi would be in attendance, so she prepared the song especially for him.  However, he made it clear that he would not sing.  That didn’t stop Lourdes from walking over to him and getting the crowd to cheer.  Put on the spot, Jon sheepishly joined her.  Alas, the band was playing in a key higher than he sings it in, but he did the best he could under the circumstances, as you’ll see on BillyMasters.com.

Nude Beachgoer Arrested

While I was frolicking at the Filth2Go Beach House in Provincetown, a gay man was being arrested at the beach in Queens, New York.  Apparently Jacob Riis Park is a popular place for gays who can’t make it to Ptown or Fire Island.  According to reports, Krys Fox was wearing only a towel while taking photos of a friend (allegedly, his bathing suit was drying in the sun).  At one point, his towel accidentally dropped.  Fox says, “I just didn’t wrap my towel around my waist tight enough and it suddenly slipped down and I literally got sent to jail for it.”

However Sgt. David Somma of the US Park Police says that Fox was “standing there fully nude taking pictures of his friend – officers observed him for a minute or two standing there.  They walked over to him, asked him to put his towel back around his waist or get dressed, and he refused.  They asked him again.  They asked if he would walk with officers to another group of gentlemen getting tickets for urinating in public.  He refused.”  The police were going to issue him a ticket, but Fox failed to produce any ID (he lost it at NYC Pride).  Somma continues, “He refused to sit down on the beach and put a towel on himself.  The most he would have received was a summons for public nudity, but he refused to cooperate, became combative, making a nuisance of himself, drawing attention to himself.  So he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.”  But Fox wasn’t just arrested – he was physically carried off the beach by a phalanx of no fewer than 11 policemen.  Once they got to the edge of the beach, they laid him on the sand, cuffed him, hoisted him up, and put him in the back of the squad car while Fox cried, “Help me!”  Although I’m sure laws were broken, did it really require 11 cops?  It seems, dare I say, like overkill.  Judge for yourself on BillyMasters.com.

Dreamgirls Reunion – Exclusive Footage

The night this column went out, the original DreamgirlsSheryl Lee Ralph, Loretta Devine and Jennifer Holliday – reunited at the Ford Amphitheatre in Los Angeles for a special celebration of the musical’s 35th anniversary.  The evening, which was produced by Chris Isaacson, started with a bang as each lady entered to thunderous applause and immediately launched into the title song – earning the first of many standing ovations.  This special moment was, alas, a highlight that was rarely matched in a night that provided numerous great solo performances but precious few opportunities for the legendary trio to interact.  In fact, aside from the opening, they only sang together on “Family”, which closed the show.

On the positive side, Holliday sang all three of Effie’s solos, while Devine sang Lorelle’s “Ain’t No Party” and “Listen” from the film.  Since Deena doesn’t really have a song in the musical, Sheryl Lee sang “Gonna Be My Time” – which was replaced on Broadway by “One Night Only”.  Later, Holliday sang the slow version of “One Night Only”, which was followed by the disco version sung by Ralph, Devine, and Sharon Brown (who was a replacement Effie on Broadway and on tour).  One of the highlights came when Kenny Lattimore explained how seeing the show made him realize that his ambition of being a singer was not a dream.  “When I first saw you, I said, ‘Oh my, that’s a dream'”, Kenny sang to Sheryl, which led to a performance of the full scene.  It was one of the few times the audience got an idea of the magic this musical delivered 35 years ago.  In those moments, Sheryl Lee became Deana.

One of the most egregious omissions was the famous dressing room scene before “And I Am Telling You”.  If the original trio sang “Heavy” and continued through the end of the first act, the night would have gone down in history.  Quibbles aside, it should be noted that this sold out event raised money for Ralph’s DIVA Foundation and The Actors Fund.  As a benefit, performers were paid little more than an honorarium and therefore had limited rehearsal time – particularly damaging to the core trio since Miss Holliday doesn’t live in LA.  Kudos to some special friends who also performed, including Wilson Cruz, Matt Zarley, and the incomparable Frenchie Davis who kicked ass with “I Love You, I Do” from the film.  It should go without saying that highlights from this special concert can be found on BillyMasters.com.

Nick Jonas’ Male Lover

Our quickie Ask Billy question comes from Frank in Los Angeles: “Thanks for the hot three-way video with Nick Jonas.  But you never told us – who is the other guy?  And do you have any nude photos of him?”

That would be underwear model (and, I suppose, actor) Jared North.  I don’t know much about him, but of course we dug up some nude photos – and they are definitely scorchingly hot.  I like to imagine Jonas checked them out during the casting process.  To see what Nick was playing with, go to BillyMasters.com.

Skarsgard’s Favorite Kisser

While promoting The Legend of Tarzan, Alexander Skarsgard compared kissing his True Blood co-star Ryan Kwanten with his Tarzan love interest, Margot Robbie, and with Nicole Kidman, whom he appears with in the upcoming miniseries Big Little Lies.  “Out of the three, I’ve got to say Ryan Kwanten is surprisingly a good kisser actually.  He’s very tender.  You wouldn’t think it because he’s kind of a tough guy but very soft, gentle, tender touch.”  You can see that sizzling scene on BillyMasters.com.

Catcalls for Caitlyn

I did eventually make it to Ptown, but not early enough to see Caitlyn Jenner.  She was in town to take part in a fundraiser for Camp Lightbulb, an overnight summer camp in Provincetown for LGBTQ youths ages 14 to 17.  Camp Lightbulb is called a place “filled with fun, pride, community, friends, support, self-discovery and memories to last a lifetime!”  I’m not sure that’s the experience Cait had.  Quite a few people heckled her as she walked down Commercial Street.  “You’re a fraud,” and “We don’t want you here” were heard, as Cait blithely strolled by with her entourage.  I think even we in the gay community are on an educational curve when it comes to transgender people – and having such a polarizing figure as Caitlyn in the spotlight only makes it more confusing.  For instance, she’s currently on the cover of Sports Illustrated wearing the Olympic medal.  But, did Caitlyn win the medal?  Or did Bruce?  I’m not quite sure.  Should a transgender woman be able to compete against other women?  It certainly doesn’t seem like an even playing field to moi.

Nude Model Goes Bezerk

As we were preparing for our annual Independence Day jaunt to Provincetown, a crazed male model was running around Times Square at 8AM – an odd hour for public nudity, but that’s just me.  The crazed model in question was Krit McClean, a 21-year-old Thai-British student at Columbia University and a Ford Model.  Krit’s day started as he walked around Times Square muttering to himself and discarding articles of clothing.  When he was approached by a security guard, McClean scrambled up the stairs to the roof of the TKTS Booth.  There he continued his striptease – at one point, he hit a woman on the sidewalk with his watch!  Police quickly arrived, which happens when a nude male model is screaming and dancing on the roof of a NYC building.  At one point, he screamed, “I love fashion.  It’s taught me so much”.  Then he demanded a meeting with Donald Trump.  Later, he extolled the virtues of photographers Bruce Weber and Mario Testino.  Then, most shockingly, he referred to himself as a virgin!  The police set up one of those inflatable bouncy pads on the ground and tried to coax him off.  After about 90 minutes, he leapt from the 16-foot roof, just missing the pad and breaking his arm.  As he was being transported to Bellevue Hospital, he continued his ranting.  You can see Krit in all his glory on BillyMasters.com.

Tyson Beckford Shows Off

Our Ask Billy question comes from Rich in Dallas, who writes, “Did you see that photo of Tyson Beckford in his underwear?  I mean, you could see the outline of the penis and that he was circumcised.  Why not just show it?”

Oh, you mean you haven’t seen it?  Where have you been?  Surely not to BillyMasters.com, where Tyson has been au naturale for years!  I don’t recall the specifics, but I think he was skinny dipping at a cocktail party in Australia.

Billy Eichner’s Pissed at Ross

And now, the latest gay feud – and, happily, it doesn’t include me.  This one is between Ross Mathews and Billy Eichner.  From what I can piece together, Ross filmed a commercial for Capital One where he interviewed people on the street – a la Billy on the Street.  Eichner was less than thrilled: “Hey @CapitalOne & @HelloRoss – don’t steal from my fucking show.  This is stolen intellectual property.  FUCK YOU.  #Goodbye Ross”.  I think we’re throwing around the term “intellectual property” pretty liberally.  I mean, folks have been talking to people on the street since…well, since there were streets!  Eichner Tweeted again, and then Ross Tweeted: “@BillyEichner Are you serious?  I’ve been doing man on the street interviews since 2001.  I’ve never even seen your stuff.  Bless your heart.”  Of course, I don’t really believe that.  But, here’s where it gets juicy – Billy Tweeted back “@HelloRoss Perhaps u didn’t but ur new friends @CapitalOne certainly did as they reached out to my agents about this campaign.  HAPPY PRIDE.”  Well, if that is true, I give Eichner the edge.

Stonewall Is a National Monument

In far more positive news, NYC’s Stonewall Inn has just been declared a national monument – which I suspect means drink prices will skyrocket!  Have you ever tried to get a gin and tonic at the Lincoln Monument?  They really stick it to you!  Back to our story – the Stonewall Inn and the area around it (including the surrounding streets and Christopher Park) have been designated as the new Stonewall National Monument and will be overseen by the National Parks System.  In making the announcement, President Obama said, “I believe our national parks should reflect the full story of our country – the richness and diversity and uniquely American spirit that has always defined us, that we are stronger together.  That out of many, we are one.”

Broadway For Orlando

Broadway’s most notable response to the Orlando tragedy was the recording of “What the World Needs Now Is Love” – spearheaded by the indomitable Seth Rudetsky and his husband, producer James Wesley.  The morning after the shooting, James happened to hear the song and thought it would be a great vehicle.  He called Seth, and they made a dream list and immediately got on the phone.  Being not only well-connected but also well-liked, the duo got virtually every star on Broadway on board (with some notable exceptions that need not be mentioned).  What hasn’t gotten much press are the people who stepped up behind the scenes to make this happen – including Kathie Lee Gifford and attorney to the stars, Mark Sendroff.  Everyone was in the studio 48 hours later and within a week of the tragedy, the song sung by Broadway for Orlando was released and hit number one on the iTunes Top Songs chart.  Proceeds from the track will benefit the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida.

Tarzan Tease

In a brief but certainly not small Ask Billy question, Jack from Providence asks, “Who is the guy playing Tarzan?  I just saw the trailer and couldn’t believe my eyes.  Tell me he drops his loincloth at least once.”
Clearly Jack is someone who doesn’t have HBO.  If he did, he would be familiar with the pleasures that are Alexander Skarsgard.  The latest Tarzan comes to Africa by way of Sweden, but is best known to domestic viewers as the lead on True Blood.  While you won’t see all on the big screen, every inch of him is on BillyMasters.com.

Prince William Wants Our Input

If Nick Jonas is supporting the gays for selfish reasons, why is Prince William doing it?  He just made history as the first member of the British Royal Family to appear on the cover of a gay magazine – the British monthly Attitude.  Does he have an “album” about to drop?  If not, then I have to believe that he was genuinely interested in hearing from members of the LGBT community about bullying – and invited them to Kensington Palace.  “The young gay, lesbian and transgender individuals I met through Attitude are truly brave to speak out and to give hope to people who are going through terrible bullying right now.  Their sense of strength and optimism should give us all encouragement to stand up to bullying wherever we see it.  You should be proud of the person you are and you have nothing to be ashamed of.”

Jonas speaks out and films 3 way

While most people applauded Nick Jonas for speaking at a vigil outside of NYC’s Stonewall Inn following the Orlando shooting, others felt it was a self-serving publicity appearance and accused him of more “gay baiting” – a charge based on his choice of acting roles and personal appearances in gay clubs (usually shirtless).  A writer for the Huffington Post said: “This is not the time for straight allies to take up space – especially if you’re an ally who just dropped an album three days ago.”  First, are we still calling them “albums”?  Second, I’m impressed that someone who is a worldwide star is willing to not only speak out but also show up.  How many of those critics were there?  And if he sells a few “albums” along the way, I’m fine with that, too.

This controversy about Nick Jonas comes at the time when his show Kingdom featured his character in a sexual three-way with a guy and a girl – I suppose he didn’t want anyone to feel left out.  Perhaps you’ll see Jonas in a more positive light after seeing the video on BillyMasters.com.

Big Gay Suicide

“Dear World, I am leaving because I am bored.  I feel I have lived long enough.
I am leaving you with your worries in this sweet cesspool.  Good luck.”
–
George Sanders‘ suicide note from 1972.  Well, after being married to two of the Gabor sisters,
I guess you could say he was ga-bored!

Those of us who came of age in the ’80s and ’90s became far too familiar with death – certainly more familiar than people in their 20s should be.  Living through that somewhat numbed me.  During the same time period, I dated an incredibly breathtaking man.  Early in our relationship, he admitted that he had attempted suicide.  When I asked why, he said, “Because I felt like a failure.”  I suspect the fact that he was able to share his story didn’t help.  When he actually did commit suicide years later, my sadness was mitigated by thoughts that he eventually succeeded.

I was thinking about this when I read about the suicide of gay writer, director and producer Fred Caruso.  Despite his credits, I’d never heard of him and don’t believe I’ve seen any of his work.  But based on his suicide note, I am now a fan.  I’d like to share one section here: “I have been incredibly lonely and at the same time – I hate being around people.  I hate meeting new people and I’m always waiting for someone to stab me in the back – lets just say I already have a whole culinary collection.  To be clear – I haven’t forgiven anyone.  All the grudges I’ve carried for years – I continue to carry.  To those people that I hate – I hope I have the ability to haunt you for the rest of your lives.”  If the goal of an artist’s life is to touch people, Fred can rest in peace.  He not only moved me, but made me laugh – something I hope I do with this column.  Bravo, Fred!  The only thing that could make me happier is if you actually CAN haunt those who have hurt you.  That would be swell.

Mrs. Muir

Vulture admits to excising one inflammatory statement from Noah’s interview.  “Bryan Singer likes to invite little boys over to his pool and diddle them in the fucking dark of night.”  As it turns out, this was not the only piece of judicious editing last week regarding a notable gay.  Radio host Elvis Duran was taking calls on his iHeartRadio show about people having contact with celebrities via Twitter.  A woman named Steph called in, excited to have gotten a personal response from David Muir.  “You know he’s gay, right?” Elvis asked.  “What?”  Duran then repeated, “You know David Muir is gay.”  But in the replay of the show (which is on BillyMasters.com), the gay references have been removed in an awkward pause at 25-second mark.  See?  We gays have power!

Noah’s Flood

Last week, Noah Galvin found himself in the middle of a firestorm due to an interview he gave to New York Magazine on their website, Vulture.  Before going any further, I suppose I should tell you who Noah Galvin is.  He’s the star of The Real O’Neals – a show most of you aren’t watching, if ratings mean anything.  On the show, Noah plays a 16-year-old gay boy.  In real life, Galvin is an openly gay actor – although, he’s not 16, he’s 22 (which means this show should have been on FOX, where high school students are typically played by actors who are members of AARP).  Galvin’s interview was titled, “Noah Galvin has nothing to hide”.  He was so outspoken, Vanity Fair wrote an article called, “Real O’Neals star Noah Galvin Is Refreshingly Candid About Being Gay In Hollywood”.  Alas, most others took Noah to task.  Within hours, he refuted virtually each of his inflammatory statements.  “The entire interview I gave to Vulture has hurt the LGBTQ community and the industry I feel truly fortunate to be a part of.  I apologize to everyone that I’ve hurt with my comments, and understand the damage that has been done.”  While I’m sure he was pressured to backpedal, I’m sad that he gave in.

Some of his comments were certainly ungracious.  When talking about young gay kids reaching out to him, he says, “I’m still figuring out my own bullshit.  I’ve got struggles of my own.  I don’t have time to be your fucking soothsayer.”  There was a telling story about a guest star hitting on him.  “At one point I turned to him and was like, ‘Are you gay?’  And he was like, ‘Well…I don’t know.  I’m more like, go with the flow.’  And I was like, ‘Shut the fuck up.  Get out of my face with your wishy-washy bullshit answer.  You’re a fucking faggot.  Like, I know you are.  You know you are.  Stop beating around the bush.  Just go make out with me in my dressing room.'”

Romance may not be his forte.  “My dating life is already pretty shitty because I look like a 12-year-old.  Being on TV just adds another level of difficulty to the dating thing.  First of all, I’m gay, and that’s just hard because gays are naturally a promiscuous collective of people.  So there’s the lack of monogamy and then there’s me looking like a 12-year-old.  And then there’s being in LA, where half of the men are closeted and the other half are just dumb.”  I must congratulate Noah on being so bitter at 22; that didn’t happen to me until my 40s!  And yet, he also admits to dating two people – one who is 24 and the other who is 38.  At least he has the wherewithal to realize one thing: “I’m slightly capitalizing on the fact that I’m on a TV show, to a certain extent.  Using my slight fame to be with sexier people that I normally could be if I wasn’t on a TV show.”

What ruffled the most feathers were his statements about the recently out Colton Haynes.  “That’s not coming out.  He didn’t actually say he was gay.  That’s fucking pussy bullshit.  That’s like, ‘Enough people assume that I sleep with men, so I’m just going to slightly confirm the fact that I’ve sucked a dick or two.’  That’s not doing anything for the little gays, but giving them more masturbation material.”  It’s an ironic comment from someone who last month Tweeted Colton’s coming out article and said, “Lezgo bro.  Prouda you” – whatever that means.  Haynes wasted no time in addressing these new comments: “I’ve never met this kid, so for him to judge me without even meeting & having no idea the struggles I’ve been through or where I come from is absolutely uncalled for and quite frankly embarrassing on his part.  Since when is a three pg article in Entertainment Weekly not an appropriate way to come out?  And since when did he become the judge of what’s appropriate?  Shouldn’t we all be supporting each other?  Enjoy all your success.  You’re young kid…  Hopefully you’ll learn a thing or two.  Good luck.  I’m sure I’ll seeya around – Colton Pussy Haynes.”  Am I the only one troubled that a 27-year old is calling a 22-year old “kid”?

Simmons’ Transition

In the wake of Richard Simmons‘ recent hospital stay, a fabulous rumor has emerged- that he’s transitioning (presumably from male to female – but don’t quote me on that).  It bears mentioning that this rumor started in the National Enquirer, which had a cover story emblazoned with the words “Call me Fiona!”, and promising details of his “secret boob job & castration surgery”.   How could you see that on a checkout stand and not buy it?  Well, I will save you the trouble (and the $4.99) – it’s all lies.  According to Simmons’ publicist, there is not one iota of truth to the story.  And why would a publicist lie?  Richard explains the hospital stay as follows: “I was dehydrated and needed some fluids.”  I bet he did!  Lies or not, I will forever refer to him as Fiona.

Cracked Clinton

While I am pleased that Hillary Clinton is the (presumptive) Democratic nominee, I must confess I am troubled by her wardrobe.  I’m sure some people think this type of talk is sexist, but is it any different than discussing Trump‘s skin tone and “hair”?  I think not.  My issue with Hillary is her jackets.  They invariably look cheap, stiff and unflattering.  Not only that, but the unconstructed silhouette she favors gives her the appearance of the Liberty Bell – which may or may not be intentional.  I suppose if she’s going to look like something, at least it’s patriotic.

Nick’s Beau and Bum

Our Ask Billy question comes from Cody in New Mexico: “You haven’t mentioned HAWT Broadway star Nick Adams in a while.  What is he up to?  And does he have a boyfriend?”

Last weekend, Nick performed a special Pride concert with the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus (he went to school at the Boston Conservatory of Music).  Next up is a San Francisco show at Feinstein’s at The Nikko on June 10 and 11.  As to his romantic status, he is in a relationship with Kyle Brown, who he met during his time in Priscilla (Kyle was in the ensemble).  When Nick was cast in the national tour of Wicked as Fiyero, Kyle was his understudy.  Kyle is currently in An American in Paris and, it must be said, gives Nick a run for his money in the physique department – as you’ll see from the photos on BillyMasters.com.
